The main tournament of the Balaton Pétanque Festival 2026 will be played in Triplette format, but the real magic happens at the grand final:
 the decisive match will take place on a ferry, right on the waters of Lake Balaton.

On board, among the VIP guests, you’ll find the podium finishers from the previous days’ competitions, sharing the moment as the champions are decided — floating between shores.

The final will be live-streamed to the waterfronts of Badacsonytomaj and Fonyód, and broadcast simultaneously on social media, so the entire world can witness this historic match in real time.

And the celebration doesn’t stop there.
The official awards ceremony will unfold as a spectacular show at the Badacsony pier.
The rest? Let’s just say… some surprises are better experienced than explained
